Anonymous asked, In America? You mean the USA surely. America is the entire continent. "South american people" woaaah. Latin american you mean? Or maybe you just include any person with a heavy accent as a "south american person"? A bit racist. Do you know that Latin America has not a bit of indigenous - the ones that the europeans didn't murder - population but also immigrants from omg EUROPE?

uhm….right…I’m sorry that sounded offensive, and yeah I should have specified better but…yes, I know America is a continent, and that’s the reason why I actually wrote America. I was referring to the casting of Spn, which I don’t know where takes place, and since they film in Canada I thought about not limiting it to the US only. About the accent: I was educated by an Ecuadorian person that American countries, except US, Canada and Brasil, speak Spanish. That was a generalisation of course, because I was not considering indigenous people. Although I doubt that the two actors they chose to play those characters in Spn were indigenous. Maybe they were, in that case I was being ignorant. However they were, with no doubt, speaking with a Spanish accent. About the last sentence, I’m a bit confused. Of course I know there are immigrants. But again, they were speaking Spanish…could have been Spanish people, although I think that if they casted actual Spanish people from Spain to play Italians, then they could have easily opted for actual Italians. So…. ??

  2. arcaneintellect said: USA stands for The United State of America, and as they are the only country with America in their country name, it is understandable to call them Americans.
