Yeah, It’s cute. It’s Sweet. But it’s so telling of our society. No, Not every child needs a Mother and a Father. 

1. This is Heteronormative to the extreme.
   
2. Saying a child needs a mother and a father is one of the most common arguments against same gender adoption.
   
3. It’s erasing to non-binary parents.
   
4. There are children raised by a guardian/guardians who are not their parents.
   
5. There are extremely functional families with a single parent.
   

Stop making any family that doesn’t look exactly like yours into something wrong.
