The smart pistol is a balanced weapon. It allows you to focus on movement rather than precise aiming as you chase a target down. The time it takes to lock onto someone can be grueling, seeing as how you're completely open to fire with zero defense.

If you want only the parkour, don't play a shooter. There are good alternatives for parkour-only such as Cloudbuilt and Mirrors Edge. They - for the most part - get rid of the shooting and you wont annoy any other players.

Wrong again. Dude if anything, YOU need to quit Titanfall!!! The smart pistol is staying in the game unless Respawn patches it...Do you really think that's going to happen? :P

Contain your little cry baby attitude and adjust your playing to deal with people who play with a SP. There are numerous threads on how to deal with it.

Using your logic then you should play Counter Strike, there is no parkour there and all you do is aim your gun. I love using the SP, but what i love more is drinking those rage filled tears of noobs like you who don't even know how to break line of sight or avoid a simple lock on.

I can explain it a bit easier so that you can understand: I like apple pie. Other guy doesn't like apples so he removes them. I tell him to buy other pie without apples instead of removing the apples from my apple pie. And you reply that I should buy apples.

Diamond 4 is not that special - I got from Bronze to Diamond in only the few hours I played this game since the update. Now, this is just a guess but I assume that you play mainly with smart pistol and attrition (feel free to tell me whether one or two of them are true) - so big surprise that you got to D4. Also: I dont't know what idiots you're talking about, but the guy above who said that the smartpistol removing shooting from a shooter so you can focus on parkour is a good thing seems to be a big contender for the idiot-of-the-thread-award.

And because this will come up at some point anyways, here are some facts: 1. Success in an FPS consists of around 40% aim and 60% positioning, map-knowledge and knowledge about game-specific mechanics. 2. -> SmartPistol takes around 40% of the Skill away 3. -> -> Without these 40% you can't call yourself "good" 4. If you do well without a SmartPistol, but use it anyways... well - that wouldn't make sense.

The idiots I'm referring to are you and every single one of you assholes who hijack these threads to bitch about the smart pistol then spout of a shit ton of useless facts (read your own response above this for that) and expect that you're going to change our minds on the smart pistol. The gun is in the game and it's not going anywhere. You can bitch all you want, and you can cry like a little baby every time you get killed by one. I personally hope you quit the game altogether. It's still in the game because respawn can't remove "features". We'll see if it will be in Titanfall 2 or if it will be tweaked/removed.

You're right about one thing though: I can't change your mind. "You guys kill all the fun" - that's funny because you guys ruining Titanfall(the game was labeled a disappointment by many - partially because if the smartpistol - although I disagree) was what started this discussion.

And you will never see me bitch ingame. I'll just have my fun here and see what pathetic excuses you guys come up with so you don't have to admit that you aren't good at FPS.

Also you still haven't told me what's your main gamemode/weapon

Also just to clarify - I told you I am a Diamond 4 in response to you blindly calling me a noob earlier (which BTW you've never even seen me play or know who I am). Apparently reaching the second highest level in ranked play means that I'm "nothing special". LOL dude. EVERYTHING you say from here on out is officially invalid after that remark.
