I don't know what the hell a social justice answer is. What I'll give you my is my own answer speaking for myself as a human being to another human being.

It depends on how the woman handles it. If she discriminates against all men for the rest of her life in every situation, then I certainly think she's a bigot. She needs to overcome her fear at some point in her life and grow as a person. You can't take the actions of the few and have that represent the many and still be a decent, well-adjusted person, in my view. And, I'm saying this as someone who has intimately known those affected by rape in my life.

However, if she shows up to a rape support group and has some hostile people (man or woman) barge in who don't appear to respect what their trying to achieve within the support group, I wouldn't blame her one bit for being uncomfortable and wanting them to leave. Nor would I be against anyone else asking them to leave.

I'm not sorry that answer probably didn't go the way you'd hoped it would.

Yes, I looked at that infographic link you posted and it appears bigoted and stupid.

I think treating all or most people badly based upon the actions of the few is wrong in all cases.

Since you're being polite for the most part, I'll share with you something that happened to me that I don't think I've every talked about online before (at least not in any detail).

Only some of my closest family and friends know about some of this. You can choose to believe this or not, but all I can say is this is what happened to me some years ago.

A friend and I were stalked and then jumped from behind by a cowardly gang of scumbags that attempted to kill me for no other reason than they felt disrespected by a passenger in my car I had been driving with earlier. I only found out later in the hospital by that passenger what had happened. They had honked at me and he had flicked them off without my knowledge.

I was in the hospital ICU with severe injuries and survived over time because I'm not an easy motherfucker to kill (long story I won't bother getting into as you probably won't believe it anyway).

My first (dumb) instinct was to hunt down and kill those that attacked me. I even turned away cops, etc. from the situation so that I could kill them without retribution (at least that's what I thought in my deranged state). After a few days of searching for them after I was just released from the hospital, still recovering and in extreme, agonizing pain... I finally came home and passed out by my doorway. Some neighbor friends found me there and dragged me inside to my couch and thought I had been drinking too much (they later told me).

Later in that week I came to my senses and realized, for one, I'd probably never find the gang members since I barely had any kind of good description of them and I also found that being consumed with hate was killing me and degrading me as a person.

That gang was composed of a group of men who have a different ethnicity than me. My response (while I was still in very painful recovery) was to work with people within that ethnic community and help some kids get their lives away from gangs.

Instead of embracing irrational fear and hatred for an entire group of people, I knew that those thugs were an anomaly and I treated the situation as such. I may now be worse for wear physically and even mentally to some degree after that attack, but they didn't destroy my sense of dignity and respect for humanity. And, I've come out a better person for it in that regard.

So, for your own sake, please let it fucking go. I know it helped me progress as a person. And, frankly, those gangs members are now very likely dead or in jail by now because I doubt they ever learned to progress as human beings. And, that's why I feel lucky to have been able to move on and better myself instead of being embroiled in fear and hatred for "the other".

As a matter of fact, despite all my setbacks since the attack over the years, I hope some of those guys that tried to kill me turned their lives around and got back into being active members of society. You see, that way, I can more easily finally find them and kill them (jk). But, seriously, I can't keep that hatred in my heart, fuck that. Life is too short.
