I don't know why I'm arguing with someone who either doesn't know how to read what I've written or (more likely) simply refuses to read what I've written.

There are multiple ways someone can experience oppression. There are multiple ways someone can be privileged.

Contrary to what you may believe, there isn't some sort of Oppression Olympics that determines which person is the most oppressed.

Also, you can't come up with any meaningful analysis compare individuals to individuals...you need to compare populations to populations. Statistics 101, dear. On the whole, we know that racialized people (and black people in particular due to a history of institutionalized slavery) are more likely to be poor, have lower incomes in general across all SES groups, are less likely to be hired for a job, have a shorter life expectancy, are more likely to be subject to institutional violence, are more likely to experience family break-down, will earn less for their level of education than white people with that same level of education will...shall I go on?

We're not comparing "Chad" versus Jaden: we're looking at all the students in Chad's school versus all the students at Jaden's school. You've already admitted that "Chad" lives in a predominantly black neighbourhood. You haven't admitted that Jaden's neighbours and peers are more likely to be white. That's because a history of racism has made it harder for racialized people to meet the same economic advantages and have the same opportunities.

But hey, what do I know about oppression? I'm only getting a degree in political science and health studies and know too well the factors that puts some people at risk (for stigma, for poor health outcomes, for institutional engagement) over other people...what the fuck do I know?

This group was meeting to address racial discrimination as a form of oppression. If you have been racialized in any way, you were encouraged to come.

Is a straight cisgender black woman coming from a low-income family oppressed on more axes of oppression than an affluent white cisgender gay men? Yes. Is she more oppressed when we're looking at sexual orientation as an axis? No. Can she contribute to a grassroots meeting to discuss first-hand knowledge of LGBTQ oppression and discrimination? Probably not. Should she be asked to leave such a meeting, especially a meeting where people are talking about being bullied in school for years, being shunned by their parents for their sexuality, wanting to kill themselves because they believed God hated them for being queer, and being spit at for holding hands with their lover as they walk down the street? I think so.
