I’ve been around the SJ community for about a year now, and just when I think I’ve seen all the idiocy tumblr can provide, you turn around just make me go “what the actual fuck, who the fucking hell really thinks that way?!?!?!” When I started in SJ at the time it was called the Real Social Justice (RSJ) community and our goal was to take down those we called Social Justice Warriors (SJWs). Now let’s break that down — RSJ people use logic, reason, and education to get our point across, while SJWs use anger and hate masked as love and acceptance to spread lies to the masses and give those who identify as say trans a bad image.

I’m so fucking sick of people saying “you can choose your gender” and “you don’t need dysphoria” and “pronouns don’t hold gender.”

1) if you don’t believe pronouns dictate gender, you need to go to grammar school, don’t pass go, don’t collect $200. Pronouns are place holders for someone’s name and if you’re not calling them by name, you’re calling them by gender. Nouns are objects, they are not pronouns. You don’t fucking say “John likes to run, so dog runs everyday.” That’s bad English. Dog is a noun for an actual, well, dog. (See below)  

However you can say “John likes to run, so (he/they/ze/xe/ey) runs everyday.” Pronouns make speech and language easier and less boring… “John likes to run, so John runs everyday. John is an athlete at John’s school.” That gets boring and tedious. “John likes to run, so he runs everyday. John is an athlete at his school.” Much easier to read and understand.

2) If you think/believe gender is a choice you are no better than the conservative, republican, bible humping, politicians that believe who you are sexuality attracted to is a choice and can be “cured” into making the correct CHOICE to be straight (go watch “but I’m a cheerleader” if you need more info on this, though spoilers, you can’t choose.) For over a decade I’ve been going to bed every night wishing to wake up in either the physical body I should’ve been born into or comfortable in the one I was handed. Neither has happened. If it were possible to “will” myself un-trans, I would’ve done it long ago and I have a few too many friends who were happily married, transition hit, and now are struggling to keep their marriage alive.

3) Gender Dysphoria is a real mental (IE medical) disorder. It can only be diagnosed by a psychologist or psychiatrist and the treatment is to transition. DMAB people take spironolactone and estradiol to block testosterone production in the body and to allow the estradiol (or estrogen) to work its booby magic. DFAB people take testosterone to grant the powers of deep voice and epic beards. Respectively the people are called trans women and trans men. (Side note: this is the gender binary, male and female.) Now there are people with gender dysphoria who are not male nor female, we call these people non-binary, which includes agender, bigender, genderfluid, and the general use of non-binary, like my partner who has severe top dysphoria and never identified as their sex. However these fucking ass “plant gender” and “autigender” bullshits are 1) extraneous, because even IF these bullshit genders were valid or to become valid, they are still outside the binary of male and female and therefore a label beyond non binary is extraneous and unnecessary. and 2) AUTISM IS NOT MY FUCKING GENDER!!!

Chances are I have lived with my autism diagnosis longer than you’ve been fucking alive. June 1997, I was diagnosed with autism/aspergers and since then I’ve been prodded along by the special education to the point I didn’t show up for classes (because somehow I was like Hermione and taking overlapping classes yet my time turner got lost in the mail) and I still passed my special education classes with As with almost 0 attendance. I’ve spent more time caring about passing as an average person than trying to pass as a cis woman. The idea Autigender is so ableist beyond belief in itself, if someone tried to walk into a courtroom to change their gender legally to autigender, the judge would probably throw the book at them for idiocy and fine them for wasting so much time. This is up there for most fucking offensive thing I’ve ever seen (though I think topping that list is “trans is a choice”).

Now similarly to “trans is a choice” is this whole “self diagnosing” bullshit. I can’t diagnose myself with an ear infection, proceed to go to a pharmacy, and request antibiotics. They’d look at me, laugh, and tell me to bring back a prescription from a doctor. The whole bullshit of “I’ve diagnose myself by reading Wikipedia and webmd” doesn’t work in the real world. This shit about “self diagnosed autism or panic disorder” work the same way as the first example, they are nothing more than fantasies until diagnosed by a licensed professional. Hell even doctors cannot diagnose themselves and write their own prescriptions. They must go see another doctor to diagnose their symptoms and write the appropriate prescription(s).

Now I’d like to touch on the hatred and proposed killing of all men, especially hatred and guilt tripping trans men. If you do the latter — fuck you so much (as a great man once said, “fucky, fucky, fucky you!”). Gender dysphoria is based upon dissociation with your sex based on your genitals at birth and severe depression around gender roles and body parts. I know for me I can feel when my T starts coming back into my system, it feels like acid moving through my veins; now if you take that and reverse it, guy’s estrogen being acid through their veins, if trans women deserve relief from T, trans guys deserve relief from estrogen. Trans men are not evil or betrayers or oppressing anyone by existing and doing their own thing.

NO ONE OPPRESSES OTHERS BY EXISTING AND BEING THEIR OWN PERSON. OPPRESSORS COME IN WHEN GOV’T MAKES A BIASED LAW, SOMEONE TELLS YOU TO LIVE A CERTAIN WAY AND SAID YOU’RE WRONG FOR LIVING DIFFERENTLY (churches are infamous for this by saying “do this thing or spend the rest of eternity in hell.”), ADVOCATING FOR THE DEATH OF A GROUP OF PEOPLE (men, cis people, anyone of any skin color/heritage/religious affiliation, etc), BEING DISAGREED WITH IS NOT BEING OPPRESSED OR TRIGGERING, THAT IS LIFE. LIFE FUCKING SUCKS A LOT OF THE TIME…COMMUTE TO WORK, MUNDANE JOB…YOU AREN’T THE ONLY ONES WHO SUFFER IN LIFE.
