I was offered a position at a company that makes a "bro game". It usually results in comments by redditors that shows up in prime. Overall, it would be a good opportunity for my career.
The people I met and would work with are generally nice people. It's just the products they make don't portray women in a good light. I'm not going to be in a position to be able to make change, nor do I really want too. I think that change will come over time though. But, I'm not going to be in a position where I will be constantly exposed to "Killing sex workers". I'll be focused on my piece of the project.
I've talked with some friends and gotten mixed reactions. Some people think it would be cool. Others are like "aren't you a feminist? How can you work for X?". I'm fine playing the game but I understand its flaws.
So I guess. Is it okay to be a feminist and work on a product that is "misogynistic"?

I phrased that poorly. The area I will be in has no involvement over the art/quests/text/pretty much anything people see or hear. I'm fine calling out peers for terrible comments, but I don't think I'd be able to influence any of the "visible" aspects as I won't have much input on them. Also, the game I'm working on is "more tame" than some of their other offerings.
