Engaged Politician Admits To Hooking Up With Guys, At Center Of Sexting Scandal
Newly obtained text messages written by Democratic Indiana state Rep. Justin Moed have surfaced online and they will no doubt have a damning affect on the young politician’s budding career, and perhaps his relationship with his future wife, as well. (Moed is engaged to be married to a woman later this year. Or at least he was before this scandal broke.)
Adult film actress and longtime aspiring college graduate Sydney Leathers, the same woman who exposed Anthony Weiner in his sexting scandal a few years ago, obtained the explicit texts, some of which include naked photos of Moed’s bare butt. It all started when Moed, using the screen name “Bitch Boy,” responded to an ad Leathers posted online seeking a submissive man she could “financially dominate.” The two got to chatting.
Moed told Leather he wanted to dress up in a French maid’s outfit and clean Leathers’ house, buy a strap-on for her to use on him, and be tied up in a closet and listen while Leathers had sex with her boyfriend.
But wait. It gets even more scandalous.
Moed also went into graphic detail about his sexual escapades with other men. He confessed to having an ongoing carnal relationship with a man in Indianapolis. He also said he has a special fondness for “big black cock.” Oh, and he’s a bottom.
“I sucked him,” Moed wrote about the affair. “He f-cked me. We hooked up several times. He was very dominant.”
“People say I have a charm and a naughty intrigue about me,” he added.
After the scandal broke, Moed released the following statement:
I am truly sorry I have hurt the ones I love most with my poor judgement. i am committed to rebuilding trust with my family and my community. I am committed to rebuilding trust with my family and my community. This is a private matter and I ask for it to be treated as such. I apologize to my constituents and to everyone I have let down.

Why break stories like these if he’s not hurting anyone? For all we know, the stories he was sharing could have been fantasies. If they’re “pro-family” politicians with a history of anti-gay votes, sure. Go for it. But in this case…big deal.

Did I miss something here? Has he voted for anti-gay legislation? Made anti-gay comments? If so I can understand spreading this information about his sex life because of the hypocrisy of someone in political office. But I see he’s a Democrat, there’s no mention of any anti-gay activities. So what is this? Did we decide just to shame someone for his sexual activities just because they are not “normal”? Do we know what kind of relationship he and his wife have, if he’s actually cheated on her, or anything like that?
Unless he’s actually hurting someone or abusing his power, this article is completely inappropriate. We’ve been fighting for years to stop the shaming of people for their consensual sexual activities and desires. Why? So we can point and titter and shame this guy for liking bdsm? So we can ‘out’ people and ruin their careers because they like getting fucked? Come on. In the texts quoted at The Dirty, he refers to the woman’s part in the Anthony Weiner scandal as part of a text exchange. So, he KNEW that she was in the business of drumming up scandal for politicians! Even an average guy with nothing to hide would have the sense to stay away from an operator like that.
Was he somehow looking to be outed? It makes no sense.
No sympathy if you didn’t want what you did brought out into the public. Then why would you be stupid enough to conversate with a person who has ruined another politicians career about your sex life.

We would all be hypocrites if we said what he did sexually was wrong. What WAS wrong was deceiving the woman he was about to marry. When he says he’s “sorry” for hurting the ones he loves, what he really means is he’s sorry that he violated the 11th commandment: “Thou shalt not get caught.”
