Oh we got some updates
First is the new world championship starts March 26th. Looks like they cut out shop rankings this time. Pretty similar structure to last time otherwise. Rewards not yet revealed.
Second is the MS Development Program, which launches in May(it's not said explicitly but probably alongside set 4). Use GP with 'materials' and 'blueprints' to get develop new suits, new suits can either be digital or gotten Physically while stocks last through Cardass Direct. GP can be obtained from the index cards that come in a booster pack, through playing the game, or 'as presents from affiliated teams'. Also starting soon there will be a shop campaign where if you buy five boosters you can get a ticket(like from the first world tournament) which you can redeem for a special rare card(some of the developed MS by the look of things) and a chunk of GP after the update launches.
There's a grip of coming soon panels on the MS Dev Program page as well so looks like there's a bit more to it or at least some more in-depth info to be given.
Oh and the new mission card for this week is ・Rare 4 “Byarlant Custom 02”, even more rank downgrades this week too, even some for missions that got downgraded last week.

Doing all turtles first turn would of been suicide, better off playing switch it up.

This is the first time I've done this and won though keep in mind, if not for those snipers going batshit insane with targeting I may of lost several units first turn meaning even with all low cost units I'd of lost

Overall a lose game, and a satisfying win I sense my defense is getting smashed though

That one is given out from the world tournament if you recall, I believe his squadron was third place overall for him to have it, there was perfect gundam for individual winners and unicorn awakened for shop winners, in gold silver and as you saw bronze for respective places.

Doesn't do much different other than looks, some prestige, and I can't remember if carddass allows him to have a physical version of it BUT if he did it'd be worth alot.

So a few interesting things I've noticed since switching from F1 to JP:

1. JP and F1 cards run on separate stock, which isn't too surprising when you think about it. What is surprising, however, is that the JP region cards seem to have a much larger stock. For example, Perfect Strike just turned to low stock status yesterday whereas the F1 region Perfect Strikes have been out of stock for a very long time.

2. You can order up to 6 cards at once vs the 4 cards per order limit for F1

3. I received my cards at my forward address within 3 business days, and then a week later at my home address via SAL. This is obviously way faster than F1 shipping but it's also much more expensive, recommended that you save up cards and then ship them all off to you in one big package rather than multiple shipping to save dosh unless it's something that you absolutely have to triple stack right away.

I decided to finally give GDC a shot today, and it's been an interesting experience, I guess. I'm not too hot on the game thus far, to be honest.

The one thing I'm wondering about right now is the whole Battle Missions thing. I'm guessing by the way I got horrifically destroyed that I shouldn't even bother making an attempt until I've gotten a bunch of 'good' cards from 1P Mode?

And of course: Is this game actually worth playing at all if you don't intend to buy cards?

Yeah, as a full rental player who doesn't buy cards you are forced to get some decent draws from daily drawing and 1P Mode if you don't plan getting stomped every day.

Buying cards makes the game easier for sure.
But after you got some decent draws its possible for you to win games as well if you know the meta.

Plus its damn expensive to stay in top form, I mean that second gp02 I got recently is nice and all but the amount I payed or the first...let alone the other cards in all 3 sets.
