Rape is bad, right? I’m sure you can agree. Why is fantaisizing about rape acceptable then? Why is it okay to get off on wanting to harm other people, particularly women? Why are rapists dangerous while men who get turned on by the fantasy of raping women are not? 

Here is what is wrong with BDSM: It fetishizes violence, rape, incest, pedophilia etc. Kink and BDSM exist to say “it’s okay to FANTASIZE about something as long as it is consensual!!” But it is not okay to fantasize about raping people. It is not okay to fantasize about having sex with children, or your daughter/little sister/granddaughter/whatever. These things are not okay. I do not care if this role-play is consensual, it is dangerous in nature. Perpetuating the idea that it is okay to be turned on by sexual violence in literally any parameters (consensual or otherwise) is actively enforcing rape culture. Wanting to harm women/getting turned on by the idea of harming women is NOT OKAY. If you have a partner who allows you to play-out these fantasies, it is still NOT OKAY to be sexually aroused by sexual abuse and rape. This is not acceptable. It is not safe. 1 in 3 women are raped in their life times - why should we allow men to get off on the idea of raping them? Why should this be considered harmless in literally any context? This is misogyny. It is violent misogyny and this is painfully and blatantly obvious. 

 Also: what do you mean how is it different from any other fetish? Than what, a fetish for balloons or like…food? How is wanting to rape women different than wanting to rub a balloon on your dick? You’ve gotta be kidding me..
