True. But bringing up this smoking issue actually turns the tables on some and they will get defensive with "good" excuses. It's the exact same thing fatties do. Look at what smokers lungs look like compared to non smokers. Accounting for years obviously. It's fucking black with tar. So ask yourself the same question as you do fatties. Why keep harming your body when you know for a fact it's damaging?

You're stealing hospital resources for someone who IS worried by death.

Welp, the high taxes on cigarettes do go towards the country, so smokers do pay their way.

I smoke, and I know i'm going to die from it. I keep out of non-smokers way, they shouldn't suffer for my shitty habit.

And many fatties know that their gluttony will kill them. We hate those fatties as well, not just the delusional ones who are in denial.

I don't understand the point of your reply. You paying a tax on cigarettes does not make up for the fact that you are taking away a doctor's attention from someone who actually needs it.

And how can you admit so calmly that you know your shitty habit will kill you? That's something very serious to admit, let alone live with.

I quit a few years back, the pride I felt was amazing. Then I had a bad family time (my dad died), and it destroyed me, started smoking again.

I'm actually on the road to quitting at the moment, me and my OH have set a date, and i'm cutting back slowly until then. I can't use any of the drugs, due to them not working with medication I already take, so it should be a fun time.

Plus, I just wanted an argument with someone :)

Honestly after reading the comments I'm starting to think r/smoker hate is going to break fph down in someways. I'm not fat it not fat no one here is fat y bring up smoking? We are not all health nuts we are just all not fat
