It's a straw poll, not the fucking US census. If it was an actual survey the .3 percent of the population who are actually transgendered is not a statistically significant value to start with

You're on a fandom board on the internet the chances of someone here being openly gender divergent is higher than if you were to find a random person on the street. If only there were a way to know how many people here don't identify with a binary gender, where people add their opinions to a stack of the other opinions, a "poll" of sorts. I guess we'll never know.

How about just put the gender you changed to? It would save a lot of people's time instead of arguing about it...It's a simple poll created by a user, like someone above said, not a US Census.

it is important for people who are not gender conforming to be able to participate in any poll. the creator of the poll should have included an other or fill in the blank option for those people. because these people do exist, they are human, and they have feelings just like the rest of us. I'm not trying to be THAT person, but it is simple stuff like this that could help make people feel just a little more accepted in this world. Also, taking data displaying only the genders in the binary system will give you inaccurate results so there's that too.
