CentOS 6.4 (RHEL 6.4) 以降(CentOS 7はもちろん)は論理ボリュームのシンプロビジョニングが可能になっていた。
実際の運用で使用するかどうかはともかく、大きなボリュームを使用する検証作業を行ううえではとても役に立つ。
