I'm not LOVING it but I don't mind it. I think it's totally relevent, especially considering it's the other aspect of being tall. Weight being another significant difference between tall people and average/short people. There's definitely alot of us who are tall and skinny, me included. I'm also one of the ones who have been wanting to gain more so it's somewhat inspiring to see people who are like me gaining the way that I want to. I'm not putting myself or any other tall people up on a pedastal but we definitely gain weight and work out differently than other people. There's certain excersises and work outs that are better and worse for us so talking about gains specifically for tall people is perfectly relevant as it's EXACTLY the kind of people you'd want to talk to. It's not just about "gains" in general, it's specific to tall people. /r/gainit is full of average sized people making gains because it's full of averages. /r/tallpeoplegains would be small as shit because only a small fraction of people would be truly invested enough to REALLY care in the same way that very few people would give a shit if /r/tallpeoplenexttoshowerheads was a subreddit or /r/tallpeoplestandingnexttoshortpeople which is why they're ALL peppered together. The same way that tall people gaining is peppered into regular /r/gainit.

Also I find it strange that /u/takeorgive submitted a post to /r/tall with a tall guy walking down stairs instead of just posting it to /r/walking. Because after all, that's all the guy is doing is walking, him being tall shouldn't be taken into consideration. Plus you would think /u/takeorgive would be semi for pics of people posting progress pics and getting healthy considering he also posts to /r/Fitness.

Talking about working out or what works with diet is not the same as posting gain/transformation pics. Sure you can learn from them, but if you really wanted to learn you could also post a question on this forum.

If only there was some sort of way you could click a post and comment on it and start a discussion on it. They could call it "commenting". It would also allow you to say things like "Talking about working out or what works with diet is not the same as posting gain/transformation pics." but sadly no such form of communication is possible. We'll just have to deal with the over saturation of tall gains pics with no way of asking questions to the OPs that are relevant to the post they put up. Science has failed us.

Your sarcastic comment is exactly what I was saying to you. If you would like info or something: start a topic or go to r/gains.

So what you're saying is tall people should ONLY be talking about specifically being tall? So anytime someone posts a picture of their head near a showerhead they should instead create a subreddit for for posting only that because well anyone could put their head near a showerhead. It's almost as if tall people have a specific set of mechanics involved with their heads and showerheads/their height and weight gaining. I think it seems pretty ironic that you made a post kind of complaining about more or less useless/incorrect subreddit posting because if YOU don't like people posting tall gain pics, just downvote it and be done with it. If you're seeing an influx of tall gain pics that means the MAJORITY of people like it or have upvoted it and want to see it on here so it's not like anyone is gaming the system. The community has upvoted/said they wanted to see more which is why there is more which is why they SHOULDN'T be posting to a different subreddit because this subreddit wants it more as evidenced by more upvotes than downvotes.
