Dude what the fuck. Why can’t the black community just have this one thing to themselves without everyone else trying to get in on it? Supporting other races and sexualities and stuff is great and all, (expect for whiteout day and straight day, seriously?) but why is everyone so uncomfortable at the fact that this isn’t about them? Can’t you just be fucking happy for someone else without feeling the need to get involved?

This is so FUCKING unnecessary and offensive! Y’all had to just piggyback off of it, huh? And WHY do we need a day to focus on white people? Y’all not satisfied with the attention y’all get 24/7 365? We gotta make a SET day for y’all?

Yo white people definitely don’t need a day but the other under represented people do. Why should black people be the only minority that gets to feel pretty in a white washed society? “Oh they’re just copying us” well hey guess what native Americans and Latinos and Asians ALL get the same racist shit spewed at them all the time that black people get and I’ll be damned if you think that black people deserve more representation than those people do. White supremacy affects other races than just black people ya know

Nobody said they don’t deserve more representation. But this was a movement BY black people FOR black people. We didn’t ask other races/minorities to reblog us. We’re doing it for US! WE flooded OUR dashes for the sake of BLACK pride and BLACK unity. This has nothing to do with other POC, just black ppl for once. Why is that so hard to understand????????

Judging by op’s name, Imma guess that this was one of those anti-black anti-sjs  who were all about making a whiteout out of spite or spamming the blackout tag because it was “segregation” and “minorities don’t need a day to feel beautiful so stop babying them!” bs. 

Now they’re all in support of this “segregation” and “babying” and make a disingenuous attempt at faux tumblr egalitarian to cover up their bitterness. Funny how they’re all about equality and inclusiveness when it comes to things like this but when you bring up the exclusiveness of many mediums, catering to people who are white, cis, het, etc, they have no problem excusing it.

Imma still blog me some blackout pics tho. And when actual people of color and other marginalized people propose a day for their respective groups, I’ll most certainly be there for support.
