Isn't saying 'I hate trans people' and 'I hate cis people' the same thing? You're still stating that your reason for hating someone is their gender identity.

Nope. Not even close to the same reason. Besides, while trans people are murdered because people hate them due to their gender identity, cis people are not murdered for being cis, but rather for which binary they fall under (Like how women are killed just for being women, as an example.). Killed by other cis people no less, cause I’ve yet to hear of a trans or nonbinary murderer, let alone one targeting cis people. It just doesn’t happen.
