There's no doubt LSAC saw the alleged leak too. If scores were supposed to be released Friday or before, LSAC probably needs to show the LSAT test takers that no one or organization has an inside man and all test takers confidence should be restored. I'm pretty cynical, but it's their only play if it were true.

Edward Snowden works for LSAC!!!!!!!

this is the craziest thing I have ever heard. LSAC may be dragging their feet, but it is not some Machiavellian power play. As evil LSAC is, they're not this cynical. When they are finished the scores will be released. Besides, no one should take Kaplan serious. Kaplan is a joke.

Or you clearly work for LSAC and are doing damage control after we have figured out that the inner dealings within the council are much closer to an episode of House of Cards than we had originally anticipated

Seriously ! Power move to the max. Like okay no one ever belives Kaplan. Get over yourselves Lsac

They're not necessarily on a Machiavellian power trip - but they do need to be cautious about perhaps coincidentally confirming one company's prediction, thereby increasing that particular company's business. It's in their best interest not to strain relations with any one entity (other than, of course, the test-takers).

How would releasing the date in the general time frame given raise any suspicion of favoritism? So what if some Kaplan moron mentioned that he heard it from the grapevine - which is the most obnoxious phrase - that the scores would be released on friday. I saw several other blogs predicting the same thing because they were going by trends from the previous years.

I hate LSAC with a burning passion, I resent that this silly conspiracy theory has put me in a situation where I am compelled to defend them.

I come on this blog to see if someone has any legitimate insight, or to see if someone has notified that the first batch has been received. Instead, people such as myself are inflicted with dreadful claims such as this idiot. I desperately need my score so I don't have to endure the stupidity of some people on this blog. For the rest of you that share my pain and anxiety, I exclude you from this diatribe.

Well, you'll know that people have started getting their scores with the icons go gray (or, if you're a bit late seeing that, when the site stops working because of increased traffic). You can totally stop checking this thread and stick to refreshing the LSAC page, if it's making you so miserable to read it.

Proper grammar and syntax aside, you're right. Something I was not made aware of until very recently. Still, I am bound to be miserable knowing that people like you exist.

Dude - I was just trying to help out the initial person who suggested that LSAC might factor potential "leaks" into their decision-making. You made a snarky Edward Snowden joke, and then rephrased the initial guy's argument in a way that he never intended it to mean. But his suggestion is not totally ridiculous - that's all I was getting at. No one is suggesting any conspiracy theories. Also, no one in this thread has any of this sought after "insight." This thread is called the "waiting thread," because that's all anyone is doing here. Every single person in yesterday's and today's waiting thread has been helpful to me in some way. Whether it be humor, predictions, or shared frustrations. Everyone on here is pleasant - everyone except you. You're the pretentious jerk who was the bully in 8th grade. That kind of bully, who despite all his intellect, never learned when he grew up that bullying doesn't make you cool. The next time you find yourself wondering why you have so few people in your life who would go to bat for you, just remember this thread. And if idiots cause you to be this vicious and condescending, I suggest you stay far, far away from the internet.

Are you sure you want to pursue law? Your freudian analysis of me was so impressive. You have penetrated my soul. Perhaps you should endeavor to be a psychotherapist.

I am an internet troll, and I am being deliberately provocative to pass the time, I grant you that. I am a really nice person once you get to know me though! Seriously though the notion that LSAT is withholding scores to undermine Kaplan's credibility or to give the impression of impartiality is absurd. You're an idiot if you believe that. Also, I didn't misconstrue what the person was saying.

aeu seems like a pretty big dick. But, you're kind of lame for taking that much energy to insult him. The LSAC claim is pretty ridiculous though.
