At this point, I’m convinced Tumblr and Reddit are both full of hypocritical, self-entitled bigots. Granted, so is almost every other part of the world, but it’s very concentrated both here and there.

I’m also starting to wonder why i ever bothered getting mad at this shit in the first place. It’s tiring, honestly.

What’s wrong with people? Is equality really so hard to understand?

How is TumblrInAction like FOX news? They literally give a direct link to the thing you SJW bloggers say, no distortion possible. People think you guys are crazy because you are.

I could give you countless examples of them distorting what I or other bloggers say, and most of the people don’t even go and read the link, they just read what redditors paraphrase from what we say. Also, they purposefully will take things I say out of context or distort the context. Or maybe you’re just so obtuse and biased you STILL don’t see how you’re wrong even when it’s right in front of your face? Countless times I’ve seen redditors in a thread say shit like “i don’t agree with RTF but I do think *states the exact opinion I have in different words.*” They’re just so biased against me that can’t see anything I say in an accurate way or acknowledge anything true or valid that i say. Not that I care about their opinions, but they aren’t a reliable source of information whatsoever.

Also, a lot of times they don’t understand the conversations we have. One example I can give is once I was discussing with other trans users privilege trans people who aren’t trans women have over trans women, and somehow people on TumblrInAction made it about “passing privilege” and me hating on trans people who pass and acting like they have cis privilege, which wasn’t even related to what I was talking about.

Then there’s the time I reblogged a joke about dinosaurs having gay sex resulting in their extinction and TumblrInAction framed this as a genuine opinion of mine. Oh, and then the fact, which I brought up earlier, that they often post things I reblog from other people under my name as if I’m the author because they know it will get them more upvotes. They do this to mislead people because I know they’re not that clueless: they know I didn’t write that stuff. And the time my friend dthemod was accused of sending herself fake asks when it was a reblog from another blog that posted a joke ask. Again, they frequent tumblr, they know what a reblogged ask looks like. They can see the blog is a joke blog. They mislead people on there all the time about the content of the posts or their context (or simply don’t understand the content), and lump transphobic radfems with trans feminists, and otherkin with SJW and other unrelated bloggers with us.

Also, if all you can do is insult people by claiming they have mental disabilities, you probably don’t have and legitimate counter arguments to anything we say anyway.

  • RedditInAction:what is this sjws calling everything who disagrees with them a bigot
  • RedditInAction:it's just silly tumblr bloggers i oppose, not actual equality and activism
  • redditinaction:*posts things other feminist and anti-racist activists say and do off of tumblr and marks it "not tumblr"*
  • redditinaction:i wonder what the common denominator is about all the things we hate and make fun of...

dthemod replied to your post: mud-blood- asked:How is TumblrInA…

don’t forget the time we reblogged an ask from medievalpoc talking about Whitewashed history and reddit literally changed it to “did you know that White people were a minority in Europe?” like what? Nobody even said anything of the sort!

they do shit like that all the time - they’ll make titles that make assertions that aren’t even in the post

heidioftheopera replied to your post: mud-blood- asked:How is TumblrInA…

Not to mention, the thread titles (i.e. the first thing people see) on TiA are the biggest issue. Not everyone there might even follow the link and will just read the distorted Reddit-written title and jump to the comments section to lol about SJWs

yep - it happens all the time and the titles rarely reflect the real content of the post - and even when they paraphrase an actual opinion in the piece, it’s always incredibly slanted/biased or hyperbolic and phrased to malign the user or content
