Female sexuality is... complicated, and women have an evolutionary instinct to be "pragmatic" about sex (AKA get knocked up by rich dudes that can provide for them and their eventual kids). It's one of those pesky little social conventions that most people kind of know, but you're still not really supposed to talk about it.

Society is kinda funny like that, and the internet has taken a hard swing towards "political correctness" regarding the battle of the sexes in recent years. Not surprising to see a post like this get deleted.

I mean originally that instinct was for food and shelter and necessities and that kind of thing... but now those things are mostly taken for granted, so it manifests as OMG SHOPPPINNNGGGGGG

So they buy outfits and shit instead, which is still pragmatic. Looking nice creates backup options.

I think of it like he's the winning yak. he's that pimp yak that out dueled everyone. you just want the more successful specimen for your mate. guys are the same way, you want the girl with the big hips because it's a biological imperative for you're kids IQ. buying stuff, psh that's often not a meaningful consideration for many women. guys who were misled that it's about money and not success and then they always make a point about buying you stuff... it's so desperate.
