It's cool if you want to be religious and all, but you can't really expect the entire world to conform to your customs. Lent means nothing to the majority of the people on the planet. If you don't want to see meat during Lent, I suggest you avoid food related subreddits during Lent. That way only you have to adjust, as opposed to expecting billions of people to do so.

How is that anti-religious? And you still have given no indication of where I came off as not "calm". I was just having a conversation. You seem really offended though, which is kind of confusing, especially considering the reply I got from the person I was actually talking to.

My "panties" remain unbunched. I don't know about yours though.

Well, this turned out to be a pleasant exchange. I seriously wasn't trying to be one of "those" guys. I thought there was a chance he was serious, and was I sincerely trying to help him. If the pictures of meat were too much temptation for him, the best course to stick to his religious guidelines would be to take my advice. It is, after all, a lot easier to change your own behavior than it is to expect multiple other parties to change theirs. If he was joking (which turned out to be the case), all I did was waste 45 seconds typing.
