So, you're saying that the segment of society with the most power and privilege isn't being as strongly defended by social activists as the segments of society being oppressed and marginalized? Oh, that is just so unfair! It must be rough being you. I wish more people were working hard to make your lifestyle as accepted by society.

Edit: It is ironic that you guys downvoted my opinion into oblivion, but also repeatedly commented on it. I'd like to be able to respond to the many comments this post has spawned, but Reddit implements a timer on commenting when your post is heavily downvoted, so it says "You're doing that too much" when I try to respond. So thus you'll have to just enjoy your echo chamber without me. But you probably should ask yourself "Why did I downvote a comment and respond to it? Am I using the downvote button correctly?"

People are working pretty hard to make that lifestyle unaccepted by society. I get where you're coming from but there's a difference between passively not defending someone's preferences and actively shaming them as some kind of chauvinist because of their preferences. It feels like everyone else gets a line of defense but we for some dumb reason get further shit on by the same activists who defend others as if having a preference is an aggressive injustice specifically when we are the ones who have it.

I don't think you understood the joke - it seems to be addressing the sort of posts that say things like "real men like x" or "real women have y".

There's nothing in the joke to imply he is "not being defended," more so that his inborn preferences are proclaimed "wrong" or he is not "a real man" for them by the same people posting that no one should judge people for the way they are and liking who they like.

Also I wouldn't consider the sort of posts his joke is obviously referring to as defending anyone, because I don't think to defend someone means putting others not like them down.
