Just because they were fortunate enough to avoid the worst of the problems does not mean they cannot be sympathetic and aware of others struggles. Many of our problems could be solved if the wealthy and affluent were to have a full understanding of what our generation was dealing with.

Or maybe it would help if we make them hate us by telling them they aren't welcome.

I havent seen any extremely wealthy salaries listed sir. Maybe dont be so bitter, and recognize everyone has struggles even with decent salary, they probably have very burdensome student loans, or children or other stressors in their life.

This subreddit isnt about just money, its about general struggle even though you did the right things. Struggle isnt just money, it could be anything.

Hell they could just worry that their current situation could end.,

I'm by no means wealthy. I'm not sure what my Chicago equivalent salary would be, but its 73k in Boston bucks. I just find his sense of entitlement--"this is a place for people who SHOULD be making those wages"--ridiculous.

Uhhh... I grew up VERY poor. I was fortunate enough to have an interest in computers at a very young age, and lucky enough that it provided me with a good career.

I took a look at your post history and you seem to be very angry at anyone that earned a buck... I'm by no means wealthy, but I do work hard and am probably on the path to weath.

Look into software development it's a good career with plenty of jobs. If you're as skilled as you say you are you should have no trouble.

They earn a wage. No matter what it is they make, these are still your working class comrades. Whether they make $5 an hour or $100, you think their bosses would pay them that if they weren't producing five, ten or a hundred times that amount per hour? If bosses paid people what they were worth, there wouldn't be any profit in it for them.

Everyone here is getting squeezed by the Capitalists. There's no gloating going on here, just people who are having a slightly better time surviving under this shit, exploitative economic system.

The first guy who talked about getting money from rent, is a Capitalist, despite his small amount of wealth in proportion to the millions and billions of other Capitalist. But the distinction is simple. Your class is defined by your relationship to the means of production. Do you privately own the means of production? That is to say, property that generates wealth such as real estate, office space, factories, farm land, mines, patents, machinery, etc? Or do you not?

If don't then you're part of the working class. You're forced to sell your labour (and because your labour is attached to your person, yourself) in exchange for a wage. That's what we all do when we go and find a job, we go and find a boss, a master, an owner of those means of production so that we may be exploited by them and receive a fraction of what we produce by using our minds and muscles to create wealth for the leech.

I agree. The mansions, penthouses and skyscraper towers of the Capitalist class should be stormed and the millionaires and billionaires should be dragged kicking and screaming into the street and made to stand trial for their crimes against the working class. No one is arguing that those who have bled the working people of the world dry and lined their suit pockets with the fruits of their labour should get away free.

The working class has no wealth.
