If anything, It should be the other way around. You need to brush up on some riding safety. Replace that helmet man. It may not be as bad as that one but It's for your own good. Bike helmets are usually one and done. They're not there to look cool or keep wind out of your face. That's what sunglasses are for.

I know the safety, but its hard to ride a freeway with an open faced helmet, no visor. And I would happily replace it, if not for the fact that shit costs money lol.

Then you shouldn't be on the free way or not riding at all. When you compromise saftey, it'll all start to go down hill. Trust me. I've put down my fair share of bikes. Just get a new helmet man. It's 100% worth it if you love riding.
