Doctors Inject ‘GAY GENE’ in Babies so Same Sex Couples Can Turn Their Children Gay?
January 6, 2015
An article released by
the Daily Buzz reported
that now, because of advances in reproductive technology, doctors are offering the option for same-sex couples who wish to become parents, to turn their child gay also.
Obviously to the educated person this would be seen as satire, or parody, since there is no scientific evidence for the “born that way” idea, but it can be dangerous for others to quickly believe the X chromosome will change their baby.
So, after reading this, don’t go jump up and start injecting your children.
The article starts off with a quote from a “Dr. William Strider” saying:
““When straight couples have children, the majority of them want their children to be straight as well. That is why most straight parents have trouble accepting it when their children announce to them that they are gay,” says Dr. William Strider at the Fertility Center of Chicago.“So it only makes sense that same-sex couples would want children that carried out their same family values of homosexuality.”
Over 20 years ago a “born that way” theory, with no scientific backing, was presented to America that triggered both scientific and social controversy.
The article claims that molecular biologist, Dean Hamer, offered the first direct evidence of a “gay gene” during his studies.
“The molecular biologist, Dean Hamer, offered the first direct evidence of a “gay gene”, by identifying a stretch on the X chromosome that was likely associated with homosexuality. Now, that gene is being used to help same-sex couples reach their dream of having children like themselves.
The X chromosome is one of the two sex chromosomes in humans (the other is the Y chromosome). The sex chromosomes form one of the 23 pairs of human chromosomes in each cell.
The X chromosome spans about 155 million DNA building blocks (base pairs) and represents approximately 5 percent of the total DNA in cells.
“Each person normally has one pair of sex chromosomes in each cell. Females have two X chromosomes, while males have one X and one Y chromosome.
The new, and highly questionable treatment, is said to be called Human Germline Manipulation and it allows you to genetically engineer your baby by altering the sperm and ovum with the “gay” X chromosome gene during surrogate conception.
“This is where same sex couples would be able to change their straight baby into a homosexual baby and guarantee their same family values and acceptance throughout the next generation.
While this type of gene altering, baby-making technology may seem possible, I would not recommend it.
Science also revealed that not only did the study by Hamer lack scientific backing, it has also been questioned by several top scientists.
A study by George Ebers and George Rice
indicated that “there is no reason to focus linkage studies on the X chromosome” and that there is “no evidence that gayness is passed from mother to son”.
Some of these researchers agreed with the possibility that homosexuality is inherited, but they found no clear evidence to justify Hamer’s claims.
