I tried out Aegis and it's fun but not fun enough to put all morals aside and accept shitty censorship. I started the JP version with the basic understandings I got from the Nutaku release and it's gone really well so far, it's so much better.

For those playing english, the two units you get through the blond glasses quests, the blue haired warrior and the blond glasses, they are both incredibly efficient units that you'll want to invest both favorability and exp in.

With a setup like this you can very easily afford to run a lot of high cost units such as triple mage unless it's a rush map. The longer they stay on the field, the more efficiency you'll get out of them.

For those of you wondering that level 42 is the black armor that Nutaku is replacing with a exclusive unit. She's a muscle loli.

wow after playing the JP version of Aegis due to hearing ours was censored I have to say the JP version is far better balanced. Unlike ours gold units actually feel powerful and quest give quite a bit more cash.

I would say anyone who is on the fence should try the JP version no question, you already know what all the buttons do afterall so that is half the issues with moonrunes, the rest of the character stuff has been translated by people over on ULMF.

Gate Defense, I lay down all my Soldiers first, to get more Deployment Points from their Ability. Then set up 4x Archers on the left side to kill Gargoyles. Then I set up my Healers. Then set a Heavy Armor center line, and Prince behind him. Then I replace 2 of the Archers with Mages. The Purple Giants are trash; if my Heavy Armor gets low on HP I retreat him. Easy 3*.

Wolves' Den, I set up a Soldier + Prince in the top. Get a Healer ASAP after that. Drop a second Healer; then Heavy Armor to the left of my formation. Drop a Mage. Once the enemy Archer comes out, I only let him shoot twice, then retreat my Mage. 3*.

There's a map later that will need you to guard 4 points and it will throw more units at each than a single soldier can block. This map is also a rush map. However high cost soldiers might not be that good for maps like these. I used the iron and copper min cost soldiers, which are 4 each.

The fairies are exp multipliers. There is an awakening fairy that you can buy for 100, not sure how she works. I haven't gotten to awakening yet but from what I know you need to do the 90 charisma cost daily to get jewels for it.

As for the other two, this is Cyrus. He's a fairly good mage and one of the only three golden mages. Only gold or higher can awaken so he's fairly good, but until you get to the point where you are able to awaken it's not worth buying him, and by that point you'll have other mages instead.

As for the healer, she's actually the strongest healer by 1 point. The one in second is a black. If you need a good healer then she's worth it, though personally I would rate someone who deals damage higher than a healer, preferably a rarer type of unit.

Want to go sleep. Keep levelling up, recharging Charisma.

Wolves' den has the best EXP/cha ratio thus far, I've been farming it into clockwork routine. Here's my way:
- Elaine (silver valkyrie) at top middle
- Katie (gold soldier) at chokepoint middle

- activate Katie
- Healer just under Elaine right after she engages other enemy archer

That one jp anon who typed out how to do the last urgent mission.

Just did it on english version myself, here's my setup. 3 star only had to retreat the princess. At level 14 she has less hp and defense than the level 18 valkyrie you auto get and I just threw her down because I like how she looks. All of these units besides the witch are easily obtained.

Hopefully this'll help anyone having trouble.

Now that I have a Lv 30 Alissa (healer), I peeked at what's required to class change. She needs a copy of herself, a fairy and two specific iron classes - not sure if said irons need to be specific individuals.

I guess this is why we should never feed silvers when we're starting out - we need them for class changing.

LoV didn't straight up replace them, just said they'll give a few of them bigger tits in h scenes only. They even posted an example in the ULMF thread and we had a Marin in the game to give us reason to believe them.

With Aegis they are straight up replacing them, and not even with a good character, a worse character. Take Dina's replacement for example. She's heavily armored aside from tiny spots and she's supposed to have superhuman strength, there's no room to show any muscles or abs or anything.

She also has a shield. Dina is the only armor which doesn't have a shield since she doesn't need one, she just takes it all. Along with being very unarmored this makes you think "Damn she's tough. She's completely unprotected and she has the most defense of any other armor".

You can still get the black healer if you farm the 1st/2nd map, but to do that you have to stock those godess crystals you get for 3staring every new map :
-1 star for all enemies killed
-1 star for no killed allies
-1 star for full health

Also keep those silvers since they are pretty much needed if you want to make your units stronger.
Heck you can clear most event maps with bronze units but I would recommend looking up some videos first, there is this guy called Nasu Games on youtube who managed to clear a lot of event maps with simple bronze/silver teams so you better look it up.

Btw farm Rural Gate 12 charisma map for gold/units for feeds and try to reach level 26 to gain stats bonus from the prince.
Oh and don't forget about affection, those little bonuses can make a difference between winning and losing.

If you focus on leveling your team for two weeks and stock about 40-50 crystals you may get her, but since you're a new player I think the priority should go to the Gold soldier Aria who got a pretty nice attack stat,block 2 enemies and a very useful ability who can net you 10 deploy points and after CC she can block 3 enemies and net you about 15 deploy cost every 30 second, her teamed up with Katie will help you a lot to clear the early story and event maps.
