Seems like it would be weighted by race and income density. http://www.cdc.gov/std/stats10/minorities.htm

Erm...this could get ugly.

It's not racist if we're speaking purely about statistical averages.... It's called disaggregate data.

Goddam, I love that term.

So you're saying its a diss?!

Seriously, can't we just stick to an average?

No, because of the larger difference in outcomes depending on choice.

What if he did it with the "average" female in USA

Depends how you define average. The average as in most common would be a white girl on the pill, making odds of contacting an std relatively low and pregnancy extremely unlikely. The average as in "fuck a million and divide stds/pregnancies over fucks given" would be a bit higher.

The white girl on the pill wouldn't be the average, it would be the mode. Your second example would be the average.

Average can be taken to mean mean, median, mode, or any other "central" value.

Only if you don't understand statistics.

There's a reason we have the unambiguous term "mean." Average doesn't have a completely certain meaning. But you would know the importance of clearly defined terms if you understood the first thing about math.

Ok, so let's take the meaning of average that would be understood by the average person.

well this is a math sub so for the sake of the calculations shouldn't we use the meaning that makes the most sense to a statistician?

So, the mean?

Who you callin' a "mode"? And does "central" really mean "urban", which means "black"? You're walking a dangerous line, my friend!
