It is our duty as feminists to protect and respect women in Hijabs

It is our duty as respectful human beings to protect people of all members communities might they be Muslim or Jewish, male or female, our friends or not.

We should also protect their rights.

Not because we are feminists/equalists but because we know that every person living in our countries, on our planet, deserve respect.

It is not duty. It is common sense.

You believe it’s common sense that every living person deserves respect, and yet you come in with a completely disrespectful and derailing addition to this post?

How could you possibly think that your unnecessary commentary was at all insightful? Smug assholes like you already regurgitate this exact rhetoric in an endless cycle any time someone stands up in defense of a single group. You are not the enlightened savior bestowing wisdom upon the masses who were too ignorant to realize it for themselves. You are part of the problem, and you have no idea what you’re talking about.

Sit down and shut up and listen. You might learn something. And while you’re down there, apologize to the elders in your life for completely failing to learn from any of their attempts to teach you decency and that common sense you claim to know so much about.
