oh yea, so I had an extremely surreal experience in my History of the 1920s class today
my professor went on and on about Birth of a Nation and how it was so obviously propaganda and how amazing it was that the people back then were not only so blind to see it, but brainwashed by it
and I should have raised my hand, but I didn’t
because I couldn’t stop thinking to myself, “how many people in this room saw American Sniper and felt a great sense of patriotism for our ‘great nation’?”
