I know you probably mean nothing by the jest but if you put two and two together there is nothing to laugh about. He's in Obstetrics and is charged with improperly administering and following up on his use of abortion drugs. So an ongoing gestation means these women tried to abort and were in some cases forced to carry poisoned and sometimes damaged fetuses to term, which is probably the only worse thing than making the hard decision of having the procedure.

In the only case I have personal knowledge of he performed an invasive abortion but didn't remove the fetus or placenta and it rotted in her until she went and sought a second doctors help, this is after getting viciously ill and doing irreparable damage to her reproductive system, she is now barren.

I know this is reddit but please, put some thought into where and when you're gonna make light of an issue. This one is just too heavy.

I didn't get the impression that's what s/he was doing. In fact, I thought the comment was pointing out how absurd the situation was. Can you explain your logic?

Logic in respect to what? Look at the charges and look at his job description. People come to him for abortions, he improperly administers the drugs and doesn't follow up. When the badly executed abortion doesn't work as planned and he drags his feet about follow up sometimes this puts a person in the situation of being out of the first trimester and they are legally out of options but to try and carry it to term. Some of these babies had birth defects ranging from mild to severe. What can I clear up for you?

How the hell you think the OP was making light of the subject. Frankly, you seem to have understood neither what he was saying, nor what I was.

OP points out that the doctor was shitty, and you say 'this is serious, don't make light of the situation'. I'm asking, how was he making light of it? Clear that up for me, not why the doctor was shitty which, I assure you, we get.
