If you're just standing somewhere in Germany doing the Nazi salute you will get funny looks and some shit but you won't get thrown in jail for that. Chance are however that you're doing so surrounded by your Neo Nazi shit bag friends on a rally... and these fucks DO have a seriously anti democratic agenda and the nazi salute IS a sign of solidarity. (Though even for that you're not very likely to get thrown in jail or anything of that matter)

So yes, there are instances where the Nazi Salute does actually mean "go out and kill this group of people" and we do have those in Germany and we have laws against that, I am perfectly fine with that and sometimes think Americans should come of their high horse there. (There seem to be plenty of cases where free speech is undermined in the US not by the law but by the soccer mum/pc mind set)

I am not talking about Kim-Jong-Un because I don't know more about it than I gathered from a few documentaries. I have never talked to someone from north korea, or south korea on that subject.

I am however German so this stuff actually has relevance to me and I put some thought into that and believe I see some of the ins and outs to that.

Just a heads up, Article 5 of the basic laws of Germany, our version of the constitution assures freedom of speech to it's citizens:

(1) Every person shall have the right freely to express and disseminate his opinions in speech, writing, and pictures and to inform himself without hindrance from generally accessible sources. Freedom of the press and freedom of reporting by means of broadcasts and films shall be guaranteed. There shall be no censorship.

(2) These rights shall find their limits in the provisions of general laws, in provisions for the protection of young persons, and in the right to personal honor.

(3) Art and scholarship, research, and teaching shall be free. The freedom of teaching shall not release any person from allegiance to the constitution.

Bascially, say anything you want, as long as you're not hurting (not even that persons feelings) someone and you don't slander. With a special protection for minors.

If you're teaching, researching or doing an art piece you can do whatever you want anyway.

No, PEGIDA isn't anything new really. As it's common you have a xenophobic sentiment mostly there where there aren't actually a lot of foreigners, immigrants etc. The whole thing started out in eastern parts of Germany which still haven't made the recovery from the unification. So you have high unemployment and all that stuff. They tried to take that to the western cities but it never caught on there. Someone put it so nicely "There Mondays of rain and the thing will be over" (Mondays are when the went out to demonstrate and this is pretty much what happened)

I totally agree with their right to demonstrate. At best it shows that there are still things going wrong in these regions. People are unhappy and are looking for a scape goat. I personally think thought that PEGIDA is stupid because they are picking on the wrong people (muslims as a whole) and are actually helping radical islamists (by polarizing society... it riles people up against muslims, they feel more marginalized and it's easier to recruit from the former moderate pool for the shit fest they are having in their islamic state)

But the east always had that problem with neo nazis, xenophobia etc. more than the west.... not that it isn't a problem in west. But you certainly don't go to jail for taking part in a PEGIDA march.

Education doesn't higher IQ. This is a proven fact. Even a black kid raised in a white home with a high socioeconomic standard still score lower then whites who are living in a lower socioeconomic situation.

The frontal lobe is believed to be the part of the brain that is in charge of learning. So people who administer I.Q. tests test those areas, first and last. The rest of the sectors of the brain are meant to test how your brain processes information and how well it comprehends it. Another variable of these test are how old your are, children who take I.Q. tests are known to be better off than people who haven’t taken I.Q tests.

I hear this all the time. In fact, I posted about it 9 days ago. There are twice as many white people living in poverty as there are blacks. Poverty isn't an excuse. Liberal and rural Vermont has only 1% blacks but they still make up 10% of their prison population. Urban living isn't an excuse. I didn't say that they were subhuman. I think part of the issue is that they have much more testosterone than whites, compounded with a lower average IQ.

Also, another question. Were you raised by racist parents or did you come to have these opinions free of any other influence?

I moved to a black community and grew more "racist" after having lived around them for several years. The culture and attitude, as well as the crime and violence is astounding. I assume people who aren't racists have never lived around them. Generally white suburbanites who only know one black guy in a polo.
