You are one of the most biased people i've ever seen on here...like you have no evidence for any of the shit your saying...

Read the books, it's all in their. Some of it you'll find in the extra writings Jk Rowling has done. You don't even have to read between the lines. Don't blame me if you can't see it because of your bias.

James and his crew were engaging in propaganda against him, and Lily slowly accepted their version of events.

Please show me where this is in the books. It seems to me Lily ignored James being a dick (not propaganda, get a grip) and stuck with Snape...until his prejudice won and he declared himself a future DE.

Also it's cute that you hate James for bullying Snape at 16, growing up and dying heroically defending his family yet Snape joining the Death Eaters and bullying schoolchildren for 15 years before dying heroically is absolutely fine because he had someone be mean to him at school.

When did I ever say Snape's actions were excusable. He made up for his bad decisions 100x over, but they weren't excusable.

Read Snape's Worst Memory. The Marauders(and many of Lily's friends) are constantly trying to make Severus look worse, and paint themselves better and you can see Lily slowly give in when she starts to regurgitate James' hero tale to Severus.

Severus never declared himself a future deatheater. Those are Lily's words. Of course he did eventually become a deatheater, but that's in his future. We're talking about 5th year Severus.

Eh, they're bullying him, not actively trying to pursue a campaign against him. Not really the same, if anything Snapes the one actively trying to turn Lily against the Marauders like when he talks about James fancying her.

and many of Lily's friends)

The only time Lily's friends are mentioned is when Lily talks about them torturing Mary McDonald which Snape declares to be 'fun'

you can see Lily slowly give in when she starts to regurgitate James' hero tale to Severus.

You can see Lily give in once she's called a Mudblood by her supposed friend.

Severus never declared himself a future deatheater. Those are Lily's words.

He didn't deny it, you know what that scene implies. Certainly more so than the 'propaganda' of the Marauders you seem to think exists.

Barely anything of what you wrote contradicts what I wrote.

  • Constantly calling Severus a future deatheater is propaganda(the fact that it later became true is irrelevant at this point).
  • James did fancy her . . . .
  • And yes, Lily does bring up her friends again. She says something like, "I keep defending you to my friends."
  • Lily called James' actions heroic, that was her slowly giving in.
  • He didn't deny it? Please, Lily got the answer she was looking for because she was obstinate.

They didn't call him one though, Lily accused him of being a Death Eater in training, it's not like they were running around putting posters up.

He did, my point was that Snape was trying to turn Lily against them because he fancied Lily and was jealous of James. I only mentioned it because i couldn't think how to best describe the scene in questions.

Yes you're right actually, the friends Snape and his Death Eater gang are tortuing "for fun"

Sarcasm? Hear of it. That'd be in the same scene she says this, ""Messing up your hair because you think it looks cool to look like you've just got off your broomstick, showing off with that stupid Snitch, walking down corridors and hexing anyone who annoys you just because you can — I'm surprised your broomstick can get off the ground with that fat head on it. You make me SICK.""

Again you're stating your headcanon as fact, Lily accused him of being a DE in training; he tortured her friends and supported blood supremacy; he then joins the DE's. Those are the facts, I think it's pretty obvious he was in fact a DE in training.

James almost killed him and sexually assaulted him literally days after Sirius almost killed him . . . and you think it's wrong of him to tell his best friend, either to warn her of her dangerous housemates or maybe because he just needed someone to confide in. Jeez, talk about blaming the victim.

There's no evidence that Severus ever engaged in these acts of "fun." Merely that he defended his friends from Lily's accusations.

Actually no, not the same scene. It happened before Snape's Worst Memory(the actual event). Here's the order of events:

  • Severus almost killed by Sirius and Remus(transformed).
  • Severus and Lily chatting a couple of days, perhaps even the day after about the incident.
  • Snape's Worst Memory.
  • Snape and Lily's friendship breakup outside Gryffindor common room.

These are four separate events that occur very close to each other chronologically.

"Again you're stating your headcanon as fact, Lily accused him of being a DE in training; he tortured her friends and supported blood supremacy; he then joins the DE's. Those are the facts, I think it's pretty obvious he was in fact a DE in training."

In response to yours, and here you repeat your headcanon.

  • No evidence exists of him attacking her friends.
  • He probably didn't give a crap about blood supremacy. I'll admit however that that's just speculation.
  • Him joining the DE in the future is irrelevant at this point.

James almost killed him

You're kidding?

and sexually assaulted him

Get a fucking grip, and don't you fucking dare compare being pantsed to being sexually assaulted you fucking asshole.

Jeez, talk about blaming the victim.

I'm not blaming Lily.

Merely that he defended his friends from Lily's accusations.

Oh yeah so as long as he views torture as a bit of fun but doesn't take part in it grand. Oh but I suppose he's only a racist who's happy to let a baby die.

It happened before Snape's Worst Memory(the actual event).

Read the fucking books dickhead, that quote comes from the exact scene of Snapes Worst Memory in HBP. Then when you're done go read about actual sexual assault you absolute fucking cunt.

Yeah we're done you absolute wanker.

  • No, not kidding. Severus could have chocked to death.
  • So you're defending sexual violence now?
  • Oh no, her poor feelings, meanwhile Severus almost died twice and was sexually assaulted.
  • I never excused his actions. I was just correcting you. Regardless, he's made up for his bad decisions 100x over by the time of his death.
  • No, Lily calls him heroic during the second event, before SWP, but after the Werewolf incident.

Yah, we're done. I'm not going to argue with someone who defends sexual violence. If it were a woman in that situation, you'd understand why it's unacceptable.

You haven't made any good arguments.
