Honestly I think you're just a racist. Crime is high with blacks not because they are black, its because the areas they live in. If you go to a suburb with a moslty white population, blacks are not going to have the highest crime rates. The worst areas in america are all primarily black communities. I'm sure if you replaced everyone in Compton, Detroit, and Chicago with Asians, Asians would have the highest crime rate.

It is a subtle distinction, but he can hate black culture without being racist. He hopefully knows that this is not something that comes from skin colour. He knows highly educated successful hard working black people, and knows they all could be the same... but most are not. He just acknowledges that too many seem to be the opposite. There are definitely societal problems causing this. It isn't because they have black skin. There is something specific to black culture that causes this behaviour that doesn't seem as prevalent in other oppressed or previously oppressed poor cultures.

Note, I am talking hypothetically and don't actually know if what he is saying is true, I am not from America and haven't researched other oppressed or poor cultures. Just noting that it doesn't necessarily make him racist. People are very quick to shoot down others with that label and miss the real issues underlying it.

As I said, it is subtle. But in that particular case it is about hating a cultural behaviour or thing rather than a skin colour. It isn't racist - it isn't as though we are saying they are inferior or unable to do what others can. Its just that culturally they may do a bunch of stuff that you don't like.

If nearly all Z people tended to do X, because they were brought up in environment Y, and there are obvious cases of white people NOT doing X (but this is just rarer)... you wouldn't be racist to dislike that aspect of Z culture, and even perhaps (although this is bad, it is human) pre-judge somebody on their skin colour due to the statistical probability of them doing this thing you don't like. Judging before you know them IS bad, but often happens, and is understandable at least.

Your telling me black people commit crimes soley on the basis that they are black? No, obviously not. The reason why black rates are so high is because all the projects and ghettos in america are basically filled with black communities. I like how you tell people not to down vote you and you go and down vote me for having a different opinion than you.
