My hope is that all of the trash that came here from Digg will leave in swarms and Reddit can get back to the way it used to be. Thoughtful discussions on important topics without fart jokes and faggot humor.

You really think it will ever go back to that? Naw man, Digg brought an influx of users but even a year after the digg exodus reddit was still going strong. I think it just hit critical mass for eternal September. There's no going back until something new attracts the attention of all the Facebook shitposting redditors.
