While I agree that its unfortunate that she took her life, had her lies been believed she would have ruined another persons life. As soon as she realized that she couldn't get away with she took the cowards way out instead of owning up to what she did.

If anything this should be used as an example that lying, no mater your race, gender, or income level, to the police has consequences.

I'm not going to celebrate it, but I also am not going to care very much about it just as I wouldn't care much if an actual rapist committed suicide after being found out.

I don't want people to kill themselves, and a jail sentence would have been more justice, but she was willing to essentially end another persons life because she lied. Because of that I have no sympathy for her.

It is good that you are not celebrating the death, I wish that others here were of a similar disposition. My comments were more directed at this community rather than you as an individual.

The biggest problem here is that nothing is proven, her guilt is currently an assumption. But I agree with you that a prison sentence would be more fitting if she was indeed found guilty. Until that happens the accused deserves the benefit of the doubt.

No, it isn't fucked no matter how you spin it. I celebrate justice, and don't look back on wicked lives lost. I encourage you to think on that, so that you might see it the same way, instead of sympathizing with evil. Also, I'm bipolar as well, in fact I have a ton wrong with me that's nearly killed me in the past, I know how mental illness works, and it doesn't just 'make you do bad things', it can contribute to you being a bad person, like she was, sure. That changes nothing, evil has to go, murderers, rapists, liars, they all see justice in the end.

You celebrate justice yet you judge a person suffering a mental condition on the basis of one action and determine they deserve death. You have no idea what justice is. What's more you ignore that she may actually have been raped. You simply don't know but you assume you do and make a judgement. Your sense justice is fucked, it is self serving.
