But if you don't have a law actually punishing such behavior, you'll never get any convictions for actual sex offenders.

I think it's up to the officer to make that determination, but in this day and age, that's a pretty dicey proposition.

I'm sure 9/10 times the officer would just tell you to do it someplace more private, but the 10th time, they may want to fuck with you for whatever reason.

At that point the difference between you and a sex offender is whatever is going on through your brain, which is not court admissible.

Best just not to piss in public if there are kids within eyesight.

So unless we put public pissers on a sex offender list, catching real sex offenders is impossible?

I'd love to hear your logic for that one.

Well, considering you wrote that, not me, it's going to be hard to explain what is going on in your head when you wrote it, but let me hit myself with a hammer a few times, maybe I'll put myself in the right state of mind.

If that's not what you meant, please enlighten me.

  1. Is your penis exposed?
  2. Are there children present?

Now tell me the difference between a person pissing and a person exposing themselves without being a mind reader?

The person pissing, is... you know, pissing.

While the person just exposing himself probably isn't.

EDIT: He's probably dressed for easy access too.

If you can't think of any criteria to differentiate between the two, that's not my problem.

You made this about logic, then you brought a knife to a gun fight.

[–]SomeBlindGuy [非表示スコア]  (2子コメント)

Well if you admit that you don't give a shit about logic, all that's left is to pity you, then forget you exist.

EDIT: Unless you're implying you're just more logical than me, in which case I'd like more then "I can't tell the difference between someone peeing and someone showing off their dick to kids."

Wow, that's a good burn, I'm sure next year the 8th graders will think you're a genius.

So "I can't tell the difference." really is your only argument.

Enjoy feeling like a winner, I'm done.

So now people actually exposing themselves just have to pee and they're in good shape? Also, "easy access" clothing is hardly enough to build a crime on.

The fact is the other poster has a point here. It's more difficult than it seems to build a law that captures the bad guys without a lot of unintended punishment as well.

No the fact is that your country is the only civilized one I ever heard of doing something like this, while everywhere else people are smart enough to tell the difference between someone who needed to relieve himself and someone who has deep psychological problems.

But please give me an explanation of why other countries world wide don't do the same, if it's the only way, or even just an effective way.
