Really?? Those peole have some of the clearest accents in the English speaking world. In fact, part of the show's charm is how much they enunciate their words!

The only one who mumbles or talks quickly is Roy, and he's Irish.

I know Britain has some difficult accents (as do parts of the US), but the IT Crowd really isn't an example of it.

The English they use is what English learners all over Europe will get when they do their listening exams, because it's considered the clearest, most standard form of English in the world.
