After several years of hanging out in #warlizard on DALnet, I remember you complaining about how their rules regarding IRCops was starting to drive you and your regulars (like me) crazy. They kept coming up with crazy rules on how long you could be one if you weren't "donating" to server costs. I want to say it was around 2002 that you made decision to move the IRC over to EsperNet (where the channel still exists now). I stopped going a few years later as I moved out of my dad's house and tried to do the whole "living on my own". I would pop in a few times a year when I could but all of the regulars from the beginning just weren't coming in anymore.

I remember the weird British guy that you would always argue with on Trivia nights we tried doing to get new people to come in but really never worked except drive everyone crazy with that stupid Eggdrop bot that one dude made.. it wasn't fun. Then of course there was that Canadian chick that every guy in the chat was just dying to get with, despite her distance. She of course eventually moved stateside, got married, became a US citizen and well, good for her I guess. Shame she never played for the "other team". I remember when #warlizard moved over to Esper, a few of the other regulars created their own channels for making mods, you know .mod, .s3m, .xm, .it - IN FACT, I remember that is where virt got his start was right in our channel! Man, how things have changed...
