This Is Social Privilege |
I am Steven, formerly Stephanie. From this blog I hope to expose the privilege of and oppression by extroverts. |
Anonymous asked: psst I think your introvert problems are just normal people problems
well yeah
introverts are normal people
Of course we are, and fuck this anon for thinking that we’re subhuman.

chasabeth asked: Do you, or other INFJ's ever feel like you're taking up space? Like in social situations. Taking up space as in no one is really engaging in you, but you are them? I'm sorry if this is confusing
Yea, I get that. Especially if you aren’t particularly close to the people in the social situation. I often never saw the point of going to parties for this reason. Until I become close enough friends with someone that we actually hang out in their house alone, then I don’t want to go to a party at their house. And unless I know the majority of the people at a party or social gathering, then I don’t want to go. Unless people care about me, why would I bother?
There’s nothing wrong with only wanting close gatherings. We are introverts after all. Quality over quantity.

Beautiful read on how to stop fracturing our inner wholeness and hiding our souls.

Anonymous asked: how does living in a radfem commune feel, Pi? do you feel like the weight of the patriarchy has been taken off your shoulders?
Yeah, it feels good. I love women and there’s nothing you can say to change that :) sorry it makes you angry, but that’s really the least of my problems. Kisses!

Anonymous asked: Hello !! It's nice that you patiently answered so many of my Q's. Thanks a ton. But tbh, I was surprised when you indicated that you don't have a concrete vision for a patriarchy free society. How are you supposed to be working towards it then ? Because "liberation" seems a vague term. Aren't laws still the best way forward, even though they create only an illusion of equality ? Hopefully, laws will fill in the gap temporarily, until you people can bring about a mindset change. Thanks.
Meh, it’s complicated. I’m not only a radfem (just that alone is debatable at this point tbh, but let’s forget about that for a minute), I’m also an anarchist, so laws are, well, not really my cup of tea, generally speaking. My complete utopia would be a completely lawless society, because we wouldn’t have to have laws to keep people from doing fucked up shit. This would be achieved through the complete abolishing of every single power structure that exists. No gods, no masters, everything for everyone. No governments, no leaders, nothing but freedom and unlimited resources (because the only two reasons resources are currently limited is 1. capitalism, and 2. because we’ve fucked up the earths environment and are currently running on fall-backs). This, I realize, is probably never going to happen. The earth is going to collapse before we’re anywhere near that. That, however, shouldn’t stop us from working towards that utopia. Laws, while a liberal tactic, could potentially change things, but they don’t - men still murder and rape women even though it’s illegal. They would probably do it on a larger scale if it was legal, so it helps a bit, but it doesn’t go all the way through, does it?
I still think that the only way to liberate the people is by liberating our minds. How do we do that? With science and information.

Although I’m a thin person (5ft 2in, 109 lbs), I just wanted to tell you that I think your blog is amazing. I check it several times a week. To be honest, I started reading because I could relate to what was being said. I hope this isn’t take the wrong way. but when I was a competitive figure…

We’ll I’m not really a fan of Introvert Cat, but that one’s not too bad (it is submission based after all). ones I’d really stay away from are INTJ...
