It's always hilarious that posts like this always hyper focus on trying to disprove that bitcoin investment is a ponzi scheme but never really tackle the actual important part that investment in bitcoin is a scam.

Well done you have jumped head first in a negative bitcoin thread - SURPRISE!

Were domain name investments scams in the late 90's?

Is the internet a pyramid scheme because new members make it more valuable for everyone participating in it?

Yes, mostly?

Please explain why. Any short .com domains became immensely valuable and they still are. Domains were for the internet what bitcoins are for the blockchain = a way to make a direct investment in a groundbreaking technology without the need to invest in any particular company.

If bitcoin was groundbreaking it would have more than 100k people in 6 years of existence. The fact that bitcoin is known by most, and used by almost none is proof that it's not taking off in any meaningful way. And if it's not taking off in any meaningful way it's surely not "groundbreaking".

The huge increases in transaction amounts seem to disagree with you.

And all those transaction numbers are coming from literally 1 person. Wow much economy, so buying power!

And then there's also the fact that gambling service is 50% of your transactions:

http://lsvp.com/2013/08/23/at-least-half-of-all-bitcoin-transactions-are-for-online-gambling/

And the awkward fact that mixers and tumblers are another large percentage of your transactions

And the awkward fact that sending money to yourself is a large percentage.

And the stunningly shocking truth that probably less than 5% of your total transactions are meaningful in any sort of measure of economic activity.

Let's agree that everything your wrote is true. Transactions are still raising. That means bitcoin is more and more useful to people.

Actually it means that roughly 95%+ of your transactions are useless and not meaningful in any way. It also means that paying miners $15 per transaction for a total of $1.5 million a day is completely unsustainable and literally a complete joke.

Again, let's agree that 95% of the transactions are not meaningful to you. The amount of meaningful transactions (the 5%) is still growing -fast.

Saying that miners get paid 15 $/transaction is a complete misrepresentation of the system.

The huge increases in transaction amounts seem to disagree with you.

That's a ridiculous way to measure success. Especially since each Txn is ~$20 each

Why is it a ridiculous way? One might think that the amount of transactions done with something that is designed for making transactions is a rather relevant metric.

can you explain why you troll /r/bitcoin?

is it because you have nothing else to do, or do you feel you have a purpose in doing so?
