I believe when kotein was reinstated as mod, and was only placed on probation, you stated that if /u/kotein were to abuse his powers again, kotein will step down as mod. I believe that time is now.

Overstepping and abusing his power to censor this subreddit is never the answer and will only ignite the flame.

I second naztas request to have kotein step down as mod. Mainly as its not his first nor second abuse of power/"apology"

How many apologies do we need form this guy? You might be good mates but that doesn't mean he makes a good mod. Even that hacking scum didn't censor the community when that shit storm happened with Kotein a while ago. Let's face it, given his history, he isn't a good mod. There's plenty of better people who can move threads/posts for you.

Not sure what really happened, but apparently he deleted some posts about CowGoesM00 or something...

A previous mod, I believe.

"In the midst of all this my original thread exposing him was upvoted like 85%, but Kotein deleted all the comments and hid the thread to stop subreddit drama. He then deleted some more threads regarding censorship on the subreddit and went a bit overboard. He censored a bit too hard and to the discontent of the community received backlash back on Cow's apology thread as well as IRC. tl;dr: Cow is a fucking cheater who wanted his mod rights back. I called him out and exposed him. My thread and subsequent threads and comments on said subject were mass deleted by Kotein. Hence this apology."

I think with everything he has done to affect us negatively, having to issue multiple public apologies, and generally fucking up this much... There must be better candidates for mod. He goes into full-blown "political-campaign" mode when this stuff happens and becomes as fake as a Twinkie.

In his attempt to calm the drama around the situation about m00 cheating/mod status he removed/deleted aka censor any post related to this topic. Essentially, he turned this subreddit that we all stated to be free and open into a dictatorship where we the community are unable to make any post about a old mod coming back but being tied to cheating and keeping his mod privileges.

As a result, i and others feel that /u/kotein is not mature enough to be a mod on this subreddit. Especially, when this is not his first nor second offense.

People make mistakes. Look into your past. Tell me you haven't made a mistake. Tell me no one has ever forgiven you before. People are people. Humans. Imperfect at birth. We naturally are greedy and selfish, and as a result, we make mistakes. We step over our boundaries. We are mistakes, in a way.

Give him another chance. He's been a friendly person and a great mod overall. He deserves our respects.

From what I have seen, none of these accounts have talked with each other in comments (I may be wrong, I did not look that hard) although Veragonix Cube did comment on TelvePointTwo's post. It remains to be seen. If so, it is sad. They just need to relax, post a little less and post a little better.

He cares too much about karma. Multiple posts in a day, multiple account and tries way too hard to use dank memes for karma. I predict that this account will be downvoted, then there will be a new post tomorrow from a 3 hour old account introducing himself to the sub and asking questions as if he is new to reddit.

I comment a lot as well. But all of the posts coming from all of Melody's alt accounts have in no way benefitted this sub. Most of my posts are notices for events, surprise dungeons, and I even did a Cardes Guide.

People need to learn what actually benefit the subreddit or brings smiles to their faces. The upvote/downvote system helps in this regard but some people just don't learn...
