It's offensive because, in addition to the "greedy Jew" line drawing that was superimposed over the elephant, it's saying that Jews rule the world. That's not a "stereotype", it's an antisemitic conspiracy theory.

What he's saying is if they did target Israel in equal proportions the Jews would have a shit-fit. A lot of countries have laws against speaking against Jews in any way. Many of us see the hypocrisy here. It's sickening.

That cartoon is hilarious, thanks for posting it. Anyway it is illegal to question the holocaust in France, so this whole spiel about 'freedom of expression to defend against evil Muslims' is ridiculous and absurd. Case in point, the magazine that was attacked was preoccupied with attacking Muslims, as most publications in France do not criticize Jews.
