You lost approximately 20,000 nerve endings when you were circumcised. That’s the majority of the sexual nerve endings that your body has. Any sexual pleasure you feel, is significantly less than that of an uncircumcised male.

Infant. Circumcision. IS. Genital. Mutilation.

It is a violation of human rights, and shouldn’t be something that somebody can push onto their child unnecessarily.

ALSO, the Belgian study that started the whole “sex is less fun for the circumcised” has been heavily opposed by scientists in the field who claim: “The study used a biased sample population, didn’t measure sensitivity changes before and after circumcision, and found only a tiny difference between the two groups, which is clinically meaningless, making it impossible to conclude from the results that circumcision reduces sexual sensitivity ” ALSO “The American Academy of Pediatrics has concluded that circumcision’s benefits outweigh its risks and that no well-done studies find a reduction of sensitivity. Two large studies of a random sample of men in Africa found no difference in sexual pleasure after circumcision between those who’d had been snipped and those who hadn’t” AND FINALLY “In addition, the differences in sexual sensitivity only appeared for some parts of the penis and were so minuscule — at most a few tenths and sometimes just three-hundredths of a point on a 5-point scale — that they probably have no clinical relevance, several researchers said.”

BASICALLY, your opinion that nobody should force circumcision on a baby can only be valid if you are the kind of person who believes that vaccinating your child is violating its rights. You’ve got the same scenario, it’s a helpful tool which can prevent disease and won’t fuck you up if it’s not done inside of a shed using a rusty chainsaw wielded by an angry hillbilly.

1. There was nothing wrong with my tone. I laid out the facts of the situation. EVERY person who gets circumcised suffers negative effects from it, it’s an inherent consequence of the procedure.

2. I said “here we fucking go again” because I had literally explained the exact same things to at least a dozen other people that day.

3. I only sign my responses to asks. That’s because my fiancee, and another tumblr user occasionally answer asks as well.

Now go bother somebody else. It’s obvious you have nothing of value to add to the actual conversation.
