I’m confused as to why the same folks that can recognize the appropriation Macklemore, Enema M, water gun kelly, and Igloo Australia commit to rap/hip hop, Black culture, are so hype over Sophia grace and Matty b.  As if white kids aren’t elevated off of mediocrity.

Y’all say white kids need to learn about the reality of racism , as Black kids & kids of color have to…but white kids don’t have learn about the realities of cultural appropriation? Like we all know what that shit will grow into, we can see it now in fact. 

White children aren’t too young to understand the consequence of their words/actions, as Black kids have to live with the impact of racism/cultural appropriation every day.  

But these are the same folks throwing a parade at a 

*white guy w/ glasses doing his best impression of 90’s R&B on a vine*

*old white guy dancing to hip hop with a crowd of black folks*

*white gay dudes struggling to twerk to beyonce*

*white boy dancing in front of his car to trap music with slightly more rhythm than the average white*

Are y’all sure y’all are upset? Then why y’all feeding into mayonnaise mediocrity?
