#BlackBrunchNYC ‘Interrupts White Supremacy,’ Annoys Brunch Patrons, Conservatives

A group of protestors spent mid-Sunday morning interrupting a variety of New York City restaurants by reading off the names of African Americans who had been killed by police.

Brunch — or more specifically the bougie version, boozy brunch — is where a sizable portion of the young Gotham elite dispenses with its disposable income on Sunday mornings. The gaggle of protesters went door to door Sunday, reading the annoyed reactions of those patrons as complacency in the face of the killing of Eric Garner and others:

As some pointed out, those eating at chic Gotham brunch spots were likely liberal de Blasio voters:
