I feel like fictionkin/spacekin/ghostkin/deitykin/gemkin etc aren't really "valid", I guess I just feel like they're hipsters who want to look cute and/or give themselves labels? It's a terrible thing to think but it's just one of those thoughts that I can't stop. I feel like they think that being otherkin is just something you can choose, and it makes me feel less "real".
