Introduction to Process Lasso
First, Process Lasso makes no extraordinary claims of magic to boost your PC performance.Lasso’s ProBalance algorithm can retain responsiveness during high CPU loads. This applies to modern PCs as much as older ones. Seriously. For instance, trying Saving a media file with Sony Vegas. Your PC will become unresponsive for the minutes/hours it takes to save, unless you have Lasso installed. Then the moment you click away from Sony Vegas, ProBalance takes action and temporarily lowers it’s priority class – which is all it takes to make your PC responsive again. It’s quite amazing to see.
Our setting automation is unquestionably useful, so I won’t get much into that. For instance, permanently set a process priority or CPU affinity. Or disallow a process from running.
New since our last promotion is Gaming Mode 2.0, which now has a pre-customized power plan that disables core parking and CPU frequency scaling. Also new is SmartTrim. We are very critical of RAM ‘optimizers’, but in our critique discovered that if they act in a less brain-dead fashion, perhaps such technology could be useful to some percentage of users. Thus, we’re offering the first-ever smart RAM ‘optimization’, in that it will target only memory hogs when appropriate. It’s still in development, so much more will come in future versions.

How To Activate Process Lasso
First, you must be connected to the Internet. If any firewall attempts to block 'plActivate.exe' from connecting to 'bitsum.com', be sure to let it through! This is a one time connection to validate the license.
See the Help / Activate menu option, as shown below.
If you do NOT see this, then the product may already be activated. To ensure the right license is applied, use Help / Change License Code.
Activation is failing?
Some possibilities are listed below. Make sure you have internet access!
- Make sure you are using the ACTIVATION CODE and not the Support Area PASSWORD
- Firewall is blocking Process Lasso (ProcessLasso.exe, plActivate.exe, or other modules). Often times this firewall is part of your security suite.
- HOSTS file has been modified by a crack or keygen to prevent access to our server.
- Corporate, ISP, or other proxy prohibits access. Purchase a license in this case, as it requires special handling.
