Background: So, an ongoing issue for Waiting Windows Phone users is that the apps we get don't have feature parity with other platforms, come much later than other platforms, or we just don't get them at all. Snapchat falls in this third category.
We used to have a really good SnapChat app in the form of 6snap, however, SnapChat went banhappy against all 3rd party app users and then got Microsoft to pull all unofficial SnapChat apps from the store, leaving Windows Phone users SnapChat-less. Naturally, the weeks that followed have been filled with very unhappy WP users, inundating the WP subbreddit with posts like: "Where's Snapchat?" "When are we getting SnapChat?" "Why does everyone care about SnapChat?" "How many chats could a snap chat snap if a snap chat could snap chats?" and the ever popular "You darn kids and your Snapchats and Instagrams, back in my day we sent SMS messages to people taped on the back of turtles! We don't need these here new fangled apps!" So after a few weeks of that, the mods have finally had enough and banned all Snapchat related discussion.
