I don't doubt that your dish tasted good, but presented as it is, poured on the plate and photographed in low light, it's not visually appealing. It looks like a sort of grey gruel with vegetables.

I think some of the negative reaction you received is due to you posting this here in /r/spicy. This is a subreddit devoted to hot chiles, but if you look at the posts here, we don't get a lot of food dish picture posts. Maybe if you'd included a recipe explaining what chiles you used in the dish, it might have gone better. Yes, I see you used Hatch green chiles...but those really aren't hot chiles.

You might get a better response if you posted to one of the food subreddits. Best of luck.

Here's the problem with your argument. People insulted and criticized your food. Inanimate food, void of emotion. You act as if they insulted YOU and YOUR character, not the characteristics of the food. Honestly, how can you look at your food and not understand where people are coming from? Your presentation is fucking hideous.

But how do you respond to people who insult your FOOD? You insult the PERSON. How does an insult on your FOOD justify a personal insult on someone else? That is what makes you a fucking child. Honestly, I don't know how you made it past thirty unless you're still living off the support of your family. Take a look at what people said in comparison to your responses. How are you not embarrassed with yourself? I pray you don't ever have children and pass on whatever values you were raised with.
