I got the pleasure of being a target of muacirclejerk recently. I wouldn't say muacj is about poking fun. It's actually pretty brutal over there. I don't care because I realize it's strangers on the Internet saying things about people they don't know. But I was pretty surprised at how ruthless they can be.

I was too. Thankfully the posts about me were more uncomfortable than anything, but a lot of people are not that lucky.

Yeah i was called stuck up and disgusting and stupid and some other stuff. And they were talking about how I was putting people down for having kids instead of buying cosmetics. Which was not at all what I was saying or implying. I'm not really sure what the point of it all was. And then the person who started the post private messages me the link to muacj and told me I had it coming.

I was just like..... Ok.

Hi there. I'm actually the original poster of that parody muacirclejerk post. I'm not going to link it here, because you can just check my history or look on the reddit sub, but I want to say I have never sent anyone inflammatory private messages; in fact, I've sent very few private messages at all in my time on Reddit! (Most I have sent are pertaining to health issues I had over the past year)

My post was made in jest, just like most things on muacirclejerk. Sending abusive private messages is something I'd never support. I'm hoping /u/rachelstone is confusing me with another person, because I would hate to think she is outright lying. If anyone is receiving abusive private messages, I'd recommend telling a mod because that's just not ok.
