My favorite part about the new episodes is how "The Nerd" has upgraded his glasses. (self.TheCinemassacre)

Every episode since the movie has been released, he is wearing the movie glasses.

One of my favorite parts about James Rolfe's movie updates was when he pointed out that he got the new glasses for the movie. He explained how it was to differentiate the web show from the movie. The fact that he is now wearing them in new episodes gives the movie a very canon feel to it. It's a small detail, but one I really appreciate.

When I was growing up (Born in 1986) my generation was big into Power Rangers. I always thought the movie was awesome because the Rangers got an upgrade to their suits. They were all decked out in metal hockey pads and stuff. My mind was blown. After the movie, the TV show never acknowledged it and it felt very out of place.

I really have to hand it to Cinemassacre. They made the movie feel canon and all it took was some consistency.

Well the Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers movie was never meant to be canon with the series. It is an alternate timeline with many differences.

With the new glasses, well... that could be explained in character by the Nerd simply stating that he got a new prescription.

It was explained by James Rolfe as a costume piece to let the viewer know they are watching the movie.

Also, your weird explanation on the Power Rangers is nothing but a fan theory. An interesting one, but one that has no basis in reality or canon.

Go over to rangerboard, make a thread and say exactly that. Toy will get your answer. The movie has never been considered canon for several reasons. Pretty much no one within the community sees the movie as canon to the show. It's an alternative continuity and the easiest way to read about it would be to go to the movies page on the PR wikia.

In short, the movie contradicts the show, thus not regarded canon.

Are you being serious? Im talking about Power Rangers. Something I watched as a kid 20 some years ago.

I had no idea Power Ranger canon was this serious. I'll gladly stop talking about it to nuts like you.

It' not that serious/important at all and you make it seem like i try to make it a big deal. I just mentioned how it works and that's it. Calm down, lessen down on the memes and move on.
